Glow FM is looking for a confident, creative, and articulate OAP/Newscaster with strong presentation, news reading, communication, and audience engagement skills.

Role Overview

Glow FM is seeking talented, disciplined, and passionate individuals to join our broadcast team as OAP/Newscaster.
The ideal candidate must have a strong voice, good command of language, confidence on air, creativity, and the ability to present news, programmes, interviews, and audience-focused content professionally.
This role is suitable for someone who understands the responsibility of broadcasting, can communicate clearly, and is ready to contribute to the growth of a modern radio station across both on-air and digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

- Present radio programmes in a professional, engaging, and listener-friendly manner.
- Read and interpret news bulletins clearly and accurately.
- Prepare scripts, programme notes, interview questions, and show outlines.
- Conduct interviews, moderate discussions, and engage guests professionally.
- Work with the news, production, and digital teams to create quality content.
- Support live broadcasts, special programmes, and station events when required.
- Engage listeners across radio and digital platforms.
- Maintain professional conduct, punctuality, and brand consistency on and off air.

Requirements

- Good command of English language.
- Ability to speak Yoruba fluently is an added advantage.
- Clear voice, good pronunciation, and strong communication skills.
- Ability to write, edit, and present news or programme scripts.
- Previous radio, media, journalism, or public speaking experience is an advantage.
- Must be creative, disciplined, punctual, teachable, and confident.
- Must be comfortable with live presentation and audience engagement.
