Lucky Aiyedatiwa, the Governor of Ondo State, has sworn in 32 newly appointed Permanent Secretaries as part of efforts to strengthen the state’s civil service and improve administrative efficiency.
The appointments were earlier approved by the governor and announced in a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Ebenezer Adeniyan.
The move is aimed at repositioning the state public service for better policy implementation and effective service delivery.
According to the government, the newly sworn-in officials are expected to bring professionalism, accountability and dedication to their respective ministries and departments.
Governor Aiyedatiwa charged the Permanent Secretaries to demonstrate integrity and commitment to duty, noting that the civil service remains the backbone of government operations.
He also urged them to work closely with political office holders and other stakeholders to ensure the smooth execution of government programmes and policies across the state.
The governor reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to strengthening institutions and improving governance through capable and experienced leadership within the civil service.
