Aiyedatiwa Unveils Statewide Political Structure for Tinubu’s 2027 Re-Election

Governor of Ondo State, Dr Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has formally unveiled the Renewed Hope Ambassadors as a statewide political mobilisation structure for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027. The inauguration took place in Akure, where party leaders and supporters gathered for the launch of the Ondo chapter of the group. 

Aiyedatiwa described the platform as an operational grassroots structure designed to take the message of reform, continuity and progress to all local government areas, wards, communities and households across Ondo State. He said the initiative is meant to deepen disciplined political engagement and ensure that mobilisation is driven by structure, coordination and clarity of message rather than noise. 

At the event, Imo State Governor and Director-General of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, Senator Hope Uzodinma, said President Tinubu’s policies and achievements had positioned him strongly for re-election in 2027. Represented by the South-West Coordinator of the group, Senator Dayo Adeyeye, Uzodinma said the initiative was created to strengthen grassroots political structures and expand public understanding of the administration’s policy direction. 

Also speaking, Ondo State Coordinator of the group, Victor Olabimtan, said the platform would function as a civic enlightenment and mobilisation network aimed at bridging communication gaps between government policies and the people. He explained that the structure would operate through state, local government and ward channels, while an earlier report said the group plans to recruit 25 canvassers in each of Ondo’s 3,933 polling units, amounting to more than 98,000 campaigners for the 2027 push. 

The event also reinforced the APC’s political objective in Ondo State, with party leaders expressing confidence that the new mobilisation structure would help consolidate support for President Tinubu ahead of the next presidential election.
