The Governor of Ondo State, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has urged Muslim faithful across the state to sustain the virtues of Ramadan beyond the fasting period.
In his message, the governor emphasized that values such as faith, discipline, sacrifice, and compassion should not end with the conclusion of the holy month but should continue to guide daily life.
He noted that Ramadan provides an opportunity for spiritual renewal and character building, encouraging adherents to remain steadfast in acts of kindness, charity, and peaceful coexistence.
Aiyedatiwa also called on residents to promote unity and harmony within their communities, stressing that the lessons of Ramadan should translate into stronger relationships and collective progress in the state.
The governor reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to fostering peaceful coexistence among people of different religious backgrounds while continuing efforts to ensure development and stability across Ondo State.
