The newly elected Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State, Kolawole Babatunde, has pledged to strengthen unity, discipline and inclusive leadership within the ruling party as he assumes office.
Babatunde made the promise while addressing party members shortly after emerging as the party’s chairman during the state congress.
He expressed gratitude to God and appreciation to party leaders and stakeholders for the confidence reposed in him, noting that his emergence was both humbling and a call to greater responsibility.
According to him, his leadership will focus on fostering cooperation among members and ensuring that the party remains united and disciplined across all levels in the state.
Babatunde described his emergence as an act of divine grace, adding that he is committed to working with all party members and stakeholders to strengthen the party’s structure and maintain its dominance in the state.
He also assured party faithful that his administration would operate an open-door policy that encourages inclusiveness and active participation from members across the state.
The new chairman further urged members of the party to remain committed to the ideals of the APC and continue supporting efforts aimed at strengthening the party ahead of future political activities.
