Popular movie producer and professional chef, Chef Juliet Kings, has spoken about her journey in Nollywood, her growing culinary business and the responsibility of grooming young talents, including her children who are currently making waves in the Nigerian film industry. Juliet Kings, founder of 5-Starz Talent Academy Film, is the mother of young Nollywood stars Angel Unigwe, Prince Buchii and Sharon Kings.
Speaking on her career journey, her involvement in entertainment started in 2010 through commercial modelling with her children before transitioning fully into Nollywood in 2013. “My path in the entertainment industry began in 2010, rooted in the world of commercial modeling with my children. “This foundation in modeling naturally transitioned into Nollywood in 2013, marking the start of a dedicated involvement in the film industry that has spanned over a decade.
” Her daughter, Angel Unigwe, has become one of Nollywood’s most recognised young actresses, while her son, Prince Buchii, also known as Bobo Juice, recently gained attention for his role in Uche Montana’s trending movie Monica. Sharon Kings, the youngest among the siblings, is also gradually building a name for herself as a child actor. Juliet Kings showed her decision to establish 5-Starz Talent Academy Film was driven by her passion for discovering and nurturing talents.
“My core vision has always been to identify and groom unique talents,” she indicated. “While I have the privilege of doing this daily with my five children, I consider myself a mother to many, and my mission is to provide a platform for other gifted individuals. ” Beyond filmmaking, the producer also indicated how she ventured into culinary arts professionally in 2021 after graduating from culinary school.
