Former member of the House of Representatives representing Akoko South West/South East and Special Adviser to Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa on Legislative Matters and Party Affairs, Kolawole Babatunde, has emerged as the new Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State.
Babatunde was elected alongside other members of the state executive during the party’s State Congress held at the International Centre and Event Centre, The DOME, in Akure.
Also elected at the congress is the former Publicity Secretary of the party, Alex Kalejaye, who emerged as the State Secretary of the APC.
The emergence of the new executive is expected to reposition the ruling party in the state and strengthen its internal structure ahead of upcoming political activities.
