A community in Karim Lamido local government council in Taraba State has called on governments at all levels to intervene and provide security following renewed attacks allegedly carried out by suspected militias.
The appeal comes amid allegations that the attacks persist despite a peace accord signed by ethnic groups in the area in December 2025.
In a statement by its national president, Uba Ibrahim, Karimjo community described the agreement as ineffective, alleging that it has failed to halt violence against its people.
