Residents of a community in Ondo State have called on Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa to urgently revive abandoned projects affecting their area.
The residents expressed concern over the deteriorating state of infrastructure, noting that several projects initiated by previous administrations have been left incomplete, impacting daily life and economic activities.
Community members said the situation has led to hardship, particularly in areas such as transportation, access to basic services, and overall development.
Similar concerns have been raised in other parts of the state, where residents protested abandoned road projects and appealed for government intervention to complete them.
They urged the governor to prioritise the completion of such projects, stressing that government is a continuum and that unfinished infrastructure should not be left to waste.
While there have been efforts by the administration to revive some stalled initiatives—such as water and infrastructure projects—residents insist more needs to be done at the grassroots level.
The appeal highlights ongoing concerns about infrastructure development in Ondo State, as citizens continue to demand improved living conditions and accountability in project execution.
