Otti Seeks South-East Governors’ Support to Upgrade Enugu Law School
Abia State Governor, Alex Otti, has called for stronger collaboration among South-East governors to improve infrastructure at the Nigerian Law School campus in Enugu.

The governor made the appeal while emphasizing the importance of collective regional efforts in strengthening legal education and professional training. He noted that upgrading the facility would not only benefit students from the South-East but also enhance the overall quality of legal practice in Nigeria.

Otti stressed that no single state can effectively address major institutional challenges alone, urging leaders in the region to adopt a unified approach toward development projects. His call aligns with ongoing discussions among South-East leaders on regional cooperation in areas such as infrastructure and education.

The Enugu Law School is one of the key campuses of the Nigerian Law School, serving law graduates from various parts of the country. Improving its facilities, according to Otti, would contribute to producing better-trained legal professionals and strengthening the justice system.

He further highlighted the need for sustained investment in education, noting that well-developed institutions are critical to long-term regional growth and national development.

The call for collaboration comes amid broader efforts by South-East governors to work together on strategic initiatives aimed at boosting economic growth, infrastructure, and institutional capacity across the region.
